Hello Fellow Golfer!
My name is Jim Yeh (just call me Jimmy) and I’m the founder of Alpha Golf. After earning a PhD in Physics, I spent a decade of R&D in the aerospace industry. I grew tired of that, and decided to pursue a passion in a related (but much more interesting!) field - golf equipment.
So I joined Kent Sports as a golf club designer. And then I spun off Alpha Golf in 2000 with the goal of making a superior golf club. I used the latest and greatest in titanium shaping, manufacturing processes, and effective club fitting procedures.
Our hard work at Alpha is starting to pay off - Alpha drivers were awarded “Best New Driver” at the annual PGA TradeShow and were called “The best drivers you’ve never heard of” by Golf Digest. We also have 6 ReMax World Long Drive Titles since 2000. That’s more titles than Callaway, Ping, Nike, Cleveland, TaylorMade, and Titleist… combined. But who’s counting? 
Here are a couple articles about some of my work in golf club manufacturing and golf club fitting. PGA Tour players are starting to notice too - Jack Ferenz and several other Tour professionals are now using our V5 driver.
