Alpha Golf carries Ping-compatible adapter tips for drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids — covering nearly every Ping model released since 2013. Unlike Titleist's unified SureFit system, Ping has used multiple adapter generations over the years that are not interchangeable with each other. This guide tells you exactly which adapter fits your specific Ping club so you order the right one the first time.
Our Ping-compatible driver and fairway wood adapters fit .335" tip diameter shafts, are available in right and left hand, and are made from aircraft grade titanium, PVC, and rubber. Unlike some other manufacturers, Ping has used multiple adapter generations over the years — and not all generations are interchangeable with each other. Important: Ping fairway wood adapters use the same generation grouping as drivers. The Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adapter fits G410, G425, G430, G440, G Le3, and G Le4 driver and fairway wood models. Older fairway woods follow their respective generation adapter. Note that Ping fairway adapters display driver loft markings only.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 (8-Lobe) — current generation, used since 2019
The current Ping adapter generation covering all G410, G425, G430, G440, G Le3, and G Le4 models. If you upgrade within this generation, your shaft transfers with no modification needed.
Ping G400 / G / G30 Adapter
This adapter fits Ping G400, G400 LST, G400 Max, G400 SFT, G Series, G LS-Tec, G30, SFTEC, G Stretch, and related driver and fairway wood models. These models use the same adapter generation and are interchangeable with each other. This adapter is not interchangeable with the newer G410+ Trajectory Tuning 2.0 generation or the older G25 / i25 / Anser generation.

Our Ping-compatible iCrossover adapter is a dedicated fitting designed exclusively for Ping iCrossover irons and is not compatible with Ping drivers or fairway woods. Unlike the driver and fairway wood adapters which use a .335" tip, the iCrossover adapter accepts both .355" tapered and .370" parallel tip shafts, making it the most versatile adapter in the Ping lineup in terms of shaft tip compatibility.

The Ping iCrossover adapter is a dedicated fitting designed exclusively for Ping iCrossover irons — it is not compatible with any Ping driver or fairway wood. Unlike the driver and fairway wood adapters which only accept .335" tip shafts, the iCrossover adapter accepts both .355" tapered and .370" parallel tip shafts, giving you more shaft options for these clubs. Ping redesigned their hosel adapter system several times since 2013 — each generation uses a different lobe pattern and collar diameter that physically prevents it from fitting in a different generation's hosel. The Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adapter introduced in 2019 with the G410 uses an 8-lobe design that is different from the G400 adapter, which in turn is different from the G / G30 adapter. This means a shaft assembled for a G430 will not fit a G400, and a shaft assembled for a G400 will not fit a G30 — even though they all look similar on the outside. Always confirm your exact Ping model before ordering to ensure you select the correct adapter generation.
The easiest way is to check the model name stamped on the sole of your driver. Once you have the model name, use this guide: G440, G430, G425, G410, G Le3, or G Le4 = Trajectory Tuning 2.0. G400 = G400 Series adapter. G Series, G30, G Stretch, or G LS-Tec = G / G30 adapter. G25, i25, or Anser = G25 / i25 / Anser adapter. GLE or GLE2 = GLE / GLE2 Legacy adapter. Yes — within the same generation, Ping uses the same adapter for both drivers and fairway woods. If you play a G430 driver and a G430 fairway wood, both use the Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adapter. The same applies across all generations — G400 driver and G400 fairway use the G400 adapter, G30 driver and G30 fairway use the G / G30 adapter. One important note: Ping fairway wood adapters display driver loft markings only, which is normal and does not affect performance or fit.
Only if you stay within the same adapter generation. A shaft assembled with a Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adapter will fit any G410, G425, G430, or G440 driver interchangeably — if you upgrade from a G425 to a G430, your shaft transfers with no modification needed. However if you upgrade from a G400 to a G410, the adapters are different and your shaft will not transfer. Check the generation guide above before upgrading to confirm whether your existing assembled shaft will still be compatible.
